Three arrested for helping Clemmons elude cops
Crime

At least three people have been booked into the Pierce County Jail, accused of helping the man who killed four Lakewood police officers at a Parkland coffee shop.

Online jail records show the three were booked Monday and early Tuesday for investigation of rendering criminal assistance to four counts of first-degree murder.

They are Ricky Hinton, Eddie Lee Davis and Douglas Edward Davis.

Pierce County sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer says friends and family members helped Maurice Clemmons after his Sunday morning attack.

Troyer says more may be arrested Tuesday, and he expects six or seven people will be in custody by the end of the day.
